This fall, Wonder Spark Learning is launching Wonder Spark: Essentials of Mandarin Chinese — a comprehensive 15-week live Mandarin Chinese course that takes beginners all the way through foundational vocabulary, reading, writing, pronunciation, and cultural fluency.
Students meet three times a week in small, interactive groups. Each session is 30 minutes of focused, energetic learning — no passive watching, just real practice.
Classes run August 31 to December 19, 2026, with breaks for Thanksgiving week.

Each week = 3 live sessions of 30 minutes each (Mon/Wed/Thu or similar).
Each unit includes: new vocabulary lesson, review games session, and reading + homework session. 2 assignments per unit.
How it Works
Each week, students attend 3 live 30-minute sessions via Zoom. Classes are kept small (2–8 students) so every child gets real participation time.
Here’s what a typical week looks like:
Session 1 — New vocabulary introduction and pronunciation practice
Session 2 — Interactive review games (Quizlet, Blooket) to reinforce learning
Session 3 — Reading exercise + homework introduction
Students also receive weekly assignments (approx. 1 hour/week) including writing practice and reading exercises. Personalized feedback is provided on all submitted work.

Four sessions are available to suit different time zones and schedules. Students enroll in one session for the full semester.
